As a 45-year-old SME with an annual turnover of around 5 million euros, we have become one of the leading importers of machine tools, accessories and tools for the metal industry in Belgium.
We are currently looking for an electric / mechantronics / mechanical engineer (m/f) to enhance our technical support team responsable for the sales, installation and service of CNC machinery and robotics.
Duties:
Field service
- Giving training of our CNC machines after installation for operators and programmers;
- Performing adjustments and/or repairs to the electric, electronic or controller part of our CNC machines.
Internal service
- Making adjustments or adding options to received CNC machines;
- Preparation of manuals and standard quotations for our CNC machines;
- Service support via telephone and e-mail;
- Follow-up of customer quotations.
Employment: full-time job (38 hours week), normal hours (8 am - noon and 12.30 pm - 4.30 pm).
Qualifications and skills:
- Engineer (in electric engineering / mechatronics / mechanics / industrial sciences) able to apply your theoretical knowledge in a multidisciplinary manner to the world of CNC machines;
- Knowledge of Fanuc / Siemens / Heidenhain controls is a big plus;
- Knowledge of PLC programming is a plus;
- You have a good knowledge of Dutch and French, average knowledge of English;
- A positive and dynamic personality who likes to work in an SME atmosphere;
